Men, Intimacy and Relationships

£260.00

Research consistently indicates that many men are reluctant to seek help for mental health concerns, especially when it comes to intimacy and relationships. Only 36% of referrals to NHS talking therapies are for men*. Some research also suggests that men who can’t speak openly about their emotions may be less able to recognise symptoms of mental health problems in themselves, and less likely to reach out for support.

This two-day workshop, led by Bernd Leygraf and Steven Hayward, will explore men’s relationship with intimacy and sex – young men, middle aged men, older men, hetero, gay, bi, pan and trans men.

You will learn how to work with men as partners in relationships to improve their intimacy, relational and emotional fitness.
